'North to West follows singer/ songwriter Rob Clarke on 'a pilgrim's progress' through music, life and Liverpool. The film explores the creative process from a musician's perspective, featuring live, stage, archive and recording footage, and interviews with friends, local media and contemporaries including the unique 'less is more' producer Fran Ashcroft.

A cast of hundreds, a lacing of humour and some local personalities chart the uneven progress of those who are consumed by music in this iconic city. From small stages to large, a true music film from the ground up, simple and unvarnished'.
